Club Championships 2006 The three 2006 Club Championship galas are to be held at Wombourne Leisure Centre on Saturday 23rd September, Saturday 28th October and Saturday 18th November (all warm-up times - 5:30pm). All Club swimmers who can swim 25m or more on a recognised stroke - from Widths Groups 3 upwards - are encouraged to enter. The links below may be used to download copies of the rules and an entry form. You will see from the Rules that events are generally based on times, not age. All entry times to be submitted should have been achieved in a 25m pool in time trials or competition. If a swimmer has not achieved a time for entry, the form should be marked '00'. The competitions will be run under ASA law with age as at 31st December 2006. Presentations for the '8 years & under' will be made on the evening of each gala. Presentations for the rest of the events will be made at the Christmas Disco. Responsibility for engraving trophies will rest with the winners themselves. Winners of trophies who are unable to attend the Presentations will be able to collect them on subsequent Sunday evenings at Dudley LC. If you in any way unsure with the format of these events please contact your Coach or Committee member who will be able to explain the arrangements in greater detail. You do not have to fill in all three championships entries now. You can, if you wish, enter up to two weeks prior to each gala. Closing dates for entries to Galas 1/2/3 are Sunday 10th September, Sunday 15th October and Sunday 5th November respectively.
