B Grade Open Meet 2010
Welcome to our 8th B grade Open meet. This meet is designed to give an introduction for less experienced swimmers to the world of open meets. We have no lower cut off times and the upper times are designed to stop A grade swimmers entering to give the average club swimmer a chance of coming away with a trophy.
This year we have included events for 13s and 14s due to popular demand and we will review if these are popular.
The trophies or medals are for the top eight in each event and the top four in each age group in IM events and the winners get a covated Cut Glass Crystal Goblet. We are accepting on a first come basis so clubs and swimmers who get their entries in early will have no rejections. The only proviso is that we prefer all entries to have times if possible for ease of administration. Entries with no times will only be accepted if the meet is not full. Note prefernece will be given to Stourbridge swimmers.
We have licensed this meet at level 3 so that times will be forwarded for entry on the ASA database and to help for entries to counties and other meets.
Speeding Certificates will be given to those swimmers who swim too fast on the day so they wont come away with nothing! However these fast swims will still be submitted to the ASA and can be used to enter
county and district competiiton.
We look forward to welcoming our friends from previous years and also new swimmers and clubs.
Clubs may use a club entry form or individual entry forms whichever is most convenient. We would prefer one club cheque if possible.
