Firstly, well done to everyone who swam in the Worcester Winter League Finals.  (Special mention for our team Captain Ant Millard who had swam in the morning and waited to cheer on the A team in the afternoon.  There were some others too Sam and Graham who would make his debut for us next time round.)

County Champions how good is that?  Everyone will be out to try and beat us now so let's work hard in all those sessions and see how well we can do from here.

The first gala after the W.W.L.  The McDonald's Trophy - one which we have held for two years.  Was it going to be three in a row (which would be a first for me as Team Manager possibly for the Club but would have to ask someone if that is fact)?

16's    Ellis Ward Brennhan, Zoe Hunter, Natalie Blakemore, Charlotte Rowbotham, Tom Burchell, Phil Harrington, Harry Lord. 

Event 1              10's Mixed Freestyle relay.  Second place here, well done to all the swimmers involved.
Events 2&3         12's 50 Back.  Sophie and Tom.  1st and a 3rd with the first win of the night well done to both of you.
Events 4&5         14's 100 Fly.  Grace and Alex.  1st and 3rd.  Great swims with good times too.
Event 6              16's Medley Relay.  1st place with excellent swims from all 4 swimmers.  Clear winners by over 3 seconds.
Events 7&8         10's 50 Freestyle.  Lauren and Jarrad making his debut for the A Team.  2nd and 4th well done cracking swims.
Event 9               12's Freestyle Relay.  2nd in this one just touched out.  Unlucky guys.
Events 10&11      14's 100 Back.  Lisa and Sam.  1st and 2nd Excellent swims from both swimmers.
Event 12             Girls 8x1 relay.  Clear winners hear and very well swum despite a change of order at the last minute.  Well Done.
Events 13&14      16's 100 Fly.  Nat and Tom both first places picking up maximum points.
Events 15&16      10's 50 Breaststroke.  Jake and Phillipa 1st and 2nd excellent swims from the younger members of the team.
Events 17&18      12's 50 Freestyle.  Ant and Fran.  3rd and 1st with Ant just touched out of second place better luck next time.
Event 19              14's Freestyle relay.  2nd here excellent swims from all for swimmers involved.
Events 20&21      16's 100 Back.  Phil and Zoe.  2nd and 1st with Phil swimming his unprefered stroke.

Events 23&24      12's 50 Breaststroke.  Joe and Ellie.  Both second places with identical times.
Events 25&26      14's 100 Freestyle.  Stephen and Sarah.  Both 2nd places again well done.
Event 27              16's Freestyle Relay.  1st place here put us back in the running.
Event 28              Boys 8x1 2nd in this one but only just touched out.
Events 29&30       10's Fly.  Kim and Jake.  3rd and 2nd here with both excellent swims.
Event 31              12's Medley Relay.  2nd here just touched out by just over 0.3 of a second.
Events 32&33       14's 100 Breaststroke.  Graham and Lisa.  2nd and 1st excellent swims for both swimmers.
Events 34&35       16's 100 Freestyle.  Harry and Ellis, both 1st places.
Events 36&37       10's 50 Back.  Lauren and George.  Extremely well done as George was swimming up an age group.
Events 38&39       12's 50 Fly.  Fran and Ant.  1st and 2nd very well done to you both.
Event 40               14's Medley Relay.  1st again this would surely secure victory.
Events 41&42       16's 100 breaststroke.  Charlotte and Phil.  Both 1st well done.
Event 43               Finally the Cannon.  Unfortunately we came 2nd in this one but we still won the gala.
